Eucharistic Adoration is time spent adoring or honoring the Eucharistic Presence of Christ. In a deeper sense, it involves “the contemplation of the Mystery of Christ truly present before us.” Adoration is held each Thursday evening from 7:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. in St. Anthony’s Chapel and each First Friday from 5:30 P.M.-6:30 P.M. in St. Anthony’s Chapel. Servers from 3rd grade through high school assist at Mass, weddings, and other liturgical celebrations. This group meets on Sundays (English) for a more in depth view of the Bible. This group meets on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. praying for the intercession in the power of Holy Spirit. The group also prays for healing. Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion distribute the Body of Christ at Mass and to the sick and home bound. Parishioners present the sacrifice on behalf of the community at Mass. A men’s organization dedicated to assisting the pastor in his ministry of service through fundraising to support various parish projects. Men and women who proclaim the Sacred Scriptures at Mass. Helps couples enhance their communication skills through a weekend retreat. Join together in song, under the talented direction of our choir directors. Rehearsals on Saturday evenings at 5:00 P.M. for the English choir in the Choir Loft. We sing at 4:00 P.M. Mass on Saturday. Spanish choir rehearsals are Thursday 7:00 P.M. for the 10:30 A.M. Mass on Sunday and Sunday at 11:30 A.M. for the 12:30 P.M. Mass on Sunday. Rite of Christian Initiation – preparation of adult candidates for Catholic sacraments. Parents are called to be the first teachers of their children in the ways of faith and in giving witness to the faith by what they say and do. However, to assist them in that mission the parish offers opportunities of cathesis at different levels. Meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in St. Anthony’s Chapel to pray the rosary. Ministers to the poor in our community. Volunteers who assist people to their seat if necessary. They also take up the weekly sacrifice.
